This music video was released yesterday!  Small budget project directed by my friend Jakub Blank.  I used photogrammetry to capture the actor, mocha to track, and AE's Element for the 3D.

Easter promo

Here is an Easter Promo for Elevation Church.  I designed and animated all shots thumbnailed below, based on art direction and supervision by Geoff Schultz.  The majority of shots were created using Maya, Element3D and After Effects.  A couple heavier shots were C4D, Vray, and Realflow

Here's another personal project.  I modeled my grandfather's Cadillac that I grew up seeing in his garage.  Memory indicates that it is a 1963 Model 62 or Deville

Grandpa's Watch

As a personal project, I had modeled my grandfather's Hamilton Sentinel watch from the 1940s.  I got Element 2 for After Effects the same week, and decided that this would be a good test of its new capabilities.  Overall the process was great, and I was impressed with the new Element

Everyday Acts of Bravery

Directed and animated this short about bravery and finances.  The piece hasn't been released yet, so here are some stills for now. Created in After Effects but inspired heavily by stop-motion techniques

"Surround" compositing

I was VFX Supervisor for this project for Elevation Church.  About 15 minutes of heavy cleanup and compositing due to studio constraints.

Uptown Marquee

A 15 second advertisement aired in Uptown Charlotte with my motion graphics work.  Fun to see!

Grilling gone wrong

Here was a quick (one hour) composite job for Elevation Church.   This sequence in the promo had continuity problems which required the grill to be made closed and fire to be added.  Attached is the video (with a couple "before" stills)

"Your Verse" series promo production

Here's a preview of one of the shorts I'm working on this week.  This is for an upcoming promo at Elevation Church.  This is one of 5 shots I'm animating in After Effects.  Very short schedule on this piece.  Design / Puppet Rig by Geoff Schultz

The Force of Grace

I created four digital shots for Elevation Church's Easter video production, "The Force of Grace" Over 29,000 people in attendance watched it that weekend.  I created these in After Effects, heavily using plugins like Element 3D, Particular and Optical Flares.

Grateful for my friend and the piece's director, Jared Hogan, and his vision for the piece.
